The story

Elfingrove was created by Oli Norman – the founder of Glasgow based itison and a local resident of the West End.

Elfingrove was inspired by Rockefeller Centre – and designed to give Glasgow a Christmas experience and ice rink to rival the great cities of the world where skating at Christmas is an annual tradition loved by locals and tourists alike.

Now in the rink’s second year – it is a truly world class destination that shows the city in its very best light at Christmas featuring the UK’s biggest ice track and first ever Snow Wheel.

Elfingrove has been designed by itison and the rink purpose built by iSkate – the team behind Dancing on Ice and SKATE at Somerset House.
