Really enjoyed our 2 night stay. Lovely big room with excellent views over the town and harbour. All staff were friendly, professional and welcoming. Food was very enjoyable and all areas were spotlessly clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend and will return in the future.

The location provides fantastic views over the village. The staff couldn’t be nicer and the food was excellent.
My only negative would be that the rooms are a little tired but the positives far outweigh any negatives.

After several visits to this lovely hotel I would highly recommend. If your looking for a quiet hotel with great food this is your place. The views are excellent overlooking the main Portpatrick area. A Short walk downhill gets you to the harbour and beach area, will be back.

Great service as soon as I went through the door. Great view of Portpatrick from our room . Excellent menu and both dining room and bar were very reasonable for a first class hotel. Also liked that breakfast was served on a plate rather than a buffet style. Will definitely go back for another stay.

This was our second visit. This hotel is all about the stunning views downhill to the harbour. Dining room is beautifully presented with table linens and serving staff were very friendly and attentive. The exposed situation on the coast must be challenging to the external facade of the building, and there is evidence of that in a few places inside. Room was perhaps a bit dated by some people’s standards but there was a full length bath with shower over , plenty of hot water and 2 very comfortable armchairs to enjoy the view. Dinner- the food was fine but £24 for the salmon was a bit pricey, but I couldn’t fault it. My husbands steak was very affordable on the other hand and much enjoyed. Electric car charge point on harbour was again not functioning so plan your trip. Portpatrick is at the start of the Southern Upland Walk for those with mobility and energy.

We had a large front facing room with view over the harbour. The rooms were dated, but everything was clean. Rooms were only serviced if required, which suited us fine. Additional items ( toilet roll and milk sachets) easily available from reception.
All in all, a nice spot and very reasonably priced with voucher.
