Great location, views over the loch, can walk into Glencoe village in 5 minutes. It was a few steps along from a great wee place for coffees, breakfasts & lunches, which also had an attached shop with a few nice souvenirs, and an art gallery upstairs.
As the cottage was just off the main road, there was easy access to many places on our 'to see' list.
The cottage had everything needed for a 'home from home' stay, and was warm & toasty after a day out in sometimes a bit wet & windy weather !
We really enjoyed our stay here, and will definitely be back.

Had already spoke to itison as the cottage was awful, waste of £300, could not sleep in it as the smell was overpowering and came home after a few hours!!! but a refund was denied.

Not sure if it was my mistake but I read the details as in that the hotel was 2 mins walk away with music and meals available. The cottage was in fact difficult to find in Ballachulish and the hotel and other accommodation is in glencoe. Although there is a co op in Ballachulish the hotel there is difficult to book and the take away closed when you arrive on a Sunday. It would have been helpful to know this in advance so I could have taken food to cook for that first night.

The quarry cottage was perfect. The neighbours were lovely and working at clachaig inn. The neighbours gave me tips on where to go for walks.
