I had the full Scottish breakfast here on a sunny Sunday morning. My wife didn't fancy a big plateful, so had a roll with 3 fillings. It was a good breakfast but then what can you do with the usual fare. I enjoyed it ok I really liked the place as it was the first time I had been in since it opened

Good was good I had Cullin Skink my wife had haggis spring rolls for starters highland chicken and bangers and mash for mains. Bottle of wine a bit expensive at £26 with 10% service charge at £2.60
Service was good but we were not given a wine list, just a waiter telling us what they had ( but not the prices)

The restaurant was very busy but service was good. My partner had the feather blade beef and it was very good. I had a seafood salad which was ok but nothing startling, the starters of haggis spring rolls and scotch egg were very good. The biggest failing was that it was very cold in the restaurant. The front door was wedged open - it is still the start of May (in Scotland) - there are large windows that don’t keep the cold out. It spoilt my meal as I sat with a scarf on the whole time I was there.
