The hotel was lovely. The foyer in particular was very bright and comfortable. The location is ideal for all the outdoor pursuits in Aviemore. We were given a welcome pack on arrival and two vouchers for complimentary drinks at the bar.
Breakfast buffet was very good.

We have been going to Coylumbridge Hotel since the days of Reo Stakis (over40 yrs) who stated the hotel and the standards have definitely gone out the window. The bedroom was ok, shower good plenty hot water, bed was firm but the heat during the night was stifling and the radiators were off, so dont know where the heat was coming from. Breakfast as the standard breakfast, so cant "muck" that up. Dinner at night as buffet style, but obviously the cheapest of the cheap - left a lot to be desired.
Unfortuately WONT be going back to Coylumbridge, rather go to the Premier Inn there you know the standard you will get, and there are plenty of reasonable priced eating places in Aviemore, Coylumbridge needs to CLOSE for at least 6 mths for complete refurb top to bottom, but there again its a Britannia Hotel & they are interested in Profit NOT customer satisfaction

It was homely. Lots of families and dogs. Breakfast good, room acceptable. Check in easy. Not easy to book. Wrong Tel no eventually given no in Manchester.

Staff were all super friendly and welcoming. We had a great few nights stay with our family and dog. Breakfast is fantastic and there was a great relaxing atmosphere. We love it here.

Very nice two nights at hotel , although we were a couple with no children, excellent hotel for families with children with p!enty to keep children entertained.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel with our Grandchildren. Excellent facilities and setting for children under 12.
Rooms clean but basic.
Breakfast which was included was fine. Evening buffet was disappointing. At £15.95for children and £25 for adults, the choice was minimal, especially for the children. Dining room was less than half full which I think reflects this.
We have booked again to take our Grandchildren in February but will be making different choices about dining.

Stayed 4 nights. Housekeeper would have been good. Entertainment was good. Pool is a bonus. Arcades and grounds kept grandson amused.

We had our small dog with us and although I realise dogs cannot go into the restaurant. In any other hotel we have stayed in, tables were set up for breakfast in the bar area. Nothing was set up, we had to go back and forward to get our food, tea etc. There was no cutlery provided and we had to ask staff for cutlery, this seemed to annoy them as if we were going to steal it. Also there was lots of children and I was very worried about going along the corridor (right outside the swimming pool), where children were running and excited about going for a swim, incase they got scolded with hot tea/coffee as we were going back and forward with our breakfast. This is definitely a health and safety issue and an accident waiting to happen.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was busy but it was good to have the friendly , cheerful atmosphere. The staff were exceptional making sure we were comfortable , even upgrading us on night 2 to a suite. The hotel probably needs some upgrading in decor but it was clean and warm
