We had a nice time here- amazing setting and lovely room and food. A few things just fell short and we were shocked at the price of the drinks. With lunch a glass of house red was £12!! No drinks menu was provided and we were encouraged by the waiter to have a large glass. Pretty sure under licensing laws that neither of these is allowed. Other drinks were equally expensive and would put us off going again. A pity as the room was lovely (though would have been nice to have a TV) with nice touches such as a carafe of whisky and tablet. The bathroom needed a good deep clean though. Very dog friendly which was great.

Although the Itison deal is for dinner, bed & breakfast, a 12.5% gratuity of £18.50 was added to our bill and not left for our discretion. We had two medium glasses of house wine which we ordered at the bar and took to our table outside on arriving. On checking out we found that each glass of wine had cost £10 and a 12.5% gratuity of £2.50 had been added even though we were served at the bar. The room we were given was directly onto the road on the ground floor at the end of the building. We had no WIFI (it did not reach this far) and there was traffic noise from the heavy lorries that seem to be continually going back and forward on this road.

We're so chuffed to have found The Inn at Loch Tummel through their itison deal, and can't wait to visit again! The view is stunning, the rooms are beautiful and extremely comfortable, the food is delicious, the restaurant is cosy and intimate - it's the perfect place for a break from the every day. So many little details are considered, the owner's are thoughtful and make you fee so at home and it has that rare quality of putting you completely at ease from the minute you walk through the door. We stayed for 2 nights and wished it had been longer, it really was the perfect getaway!

We had eaten before at the Inn at Loch Tummel, eight years ago, and always meant to go back to stay. We finally made it and it was great! We had a lovely room looking out over the loch, with a very comfy bed. Dinner was lovely and the owner, Jade, was great. He served both dinner and breakfast the next day to all guests and had a great sense of fun and energy and great interactions with all guests. We will return!
