Excellent location, beautiful public spaces. Lovely friendly staff. Very clean.
Expensive to park in hotel car park.
Room very small and dark, nothing like advertised. No overhead lighting! Cooked breakfast good but too few staff struggling to serve that and keep buffet supplied with bread, milk etc.
overall a disappointment.

Parking at £15 per day is ridiculous in hotel grounds even with blue badge

The hotel location was fantastic central for everything. Unfortunately the hotel room needed upgrading very run down. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly.

The biggest problem was the parking. We were shocked having to pay £30 plus for two nights. We also forgot to log on immediately to pay and have been quiet stressed waiting to see if we were going to be fined.... We did try calling but had no success in getting a definite answer....aaaaahhhhhh

Booked BB and Prosecco on arrival and upgraded to receive free drink from bar if room not cleaned. No prosecco offered and grumpy blonde receptionist eventually gave us a ticket after much discussion. Room quite shabby, carpet threadbare although bathroom very nice. Breakfast not great.Only juice was watered down cranberry although card on table stated orange, apple or cranberry? Car parking fee of £15.30 was a bit much. I have stayed at this Hotel before and it has really gone downhill. I would not book again.

My husband and I were apprehensive about staying at Hotel Colessio after reading the reviews but we remained optimistic and open minded. When we arrived we were greeted by a lovely staff member and were shown to our room. After mentioning in the booking that we were celebrating our anniversary, the hotel very kindly left a personalised card and some delicious cakes in our room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the next morning were impressed by the breakfast selection. Hot foods - bacon, eggs, sausages etc. cereals, pastries, fruit, yogurt plus fruit juices and tea and coffee. When checking out, staff were very pleasant and helpful and kept our bags while we explored the city.
One tip - parking within the hotel is very expensive, we parked close by on WellGreen Rd which cost £2.30 for 24hrs.
