Room not replenished with water, milk, toilet roll. Need not made. Nothing special for our anniversary. Meal cold. Pudding served with cuddles cream. Bill incorrect.

Couldn’t fault anything about hotel beautiful place, stunning views and location. Rooms were very luxurious. Food and drinks were first glass
One thing I’d like to mention with about our itison deal a bottle of Prosecco was included in our DBB deal but we were actually only given 2 small bottles where I’d say we should of been given 4 small ones which would be equivalent to a normal sized bottle

What a treat !
From the Loch view bedroom, to the valet parking, Prosecco chilling on ice… fabulous.
This is a real treat for anyone who appreciates good food and five star service.
Easy understated luxury, with so many facilities on offer.

This was our first stay back at Cameron house since the refurb, we’d regularly visited for a number of years prior to this. The service was not as great as I remember, and certainly not in line with any other 5 star hotel we have stayed in. In check in our booking could not be located. The receptionist, whilst escalating, proceeded to leave us waiting (damp and with bags from a hill walk) as she discussed her cold, life, and potential remedies with her colleague. When we we finally able to be booked in our room was a huge disappointment. Dated, dank, and overlooking the car park - at ground level. The only real highlight was dinner in the Italian restaurant (previously the boathouse) which was of high quality with a good varied menu, including veggie and vegan options. Overall I’d rate the hotel more in like with a 3 star. A bit tired, disengaged staff, and hugely over priced. As disappointed as I was spending £390 on a stay I would have been quite upset had it been £600. There are far better hotels in Scotland.

The hotel itself was lovely. Really nice rooms and facilities. Staff were really lovely too. However, we had a dinner included in the voucher at one of their restaurants. I had emailed in advance to see if any of their restaurants catered to our dietary requirements and I was told that they all did so I booked the one which had the best menu. The night of the dinner was awful. The whole experience took 3 hours and we still left starving. We had a 40 min wait before we were even seated. Service was painfully slow and the menu presented for ‘dine on us’ was not good. It didn’t say if anything was vegetarian at all and we had extremely long waits between courses. Only once did someone come to check in otherwise no one seemed bothered. We had to ask to check again for dietary requirements which they did then suggest. By the time we left we were exhausted and hungry. We were too tired to even try to get someone’s attention to complain. Went back and ordered room service which was good. Don’t think I would go for a deal like that again. It was meant to be a birthday treat which ended in disaster. I’d rather just book the hotel and pay for a proper dinner than do this deal again.

Staff were great. Rooms of a very high standard and food exceptional.
The little touches added for Easter in the room and an extra treat for my 50th birthday with complimentary cocktail was a lovely unexpected bonus.

Went wrong.
Our spa sessions were not booked, and by the time we were advised of this they couldn’t be booked anymore as spa was full. A gift voucher + bottle of champagne purchased for us as a gift went missing and we had to spend hours to locate them with reception.
Staff are lovely but completely disorganised. No effort has been made to remedy the frustration. Waiting on a response from the team - apparently should be within 24hrs which has of course also passed.

Cameron House Hotel is fabulous. We had an overnight stay with spa experience. The staff are all friendly and very helpful. A great spa experience, very relaxing and going at your own speed with what you want to do. The Traven, the sports bar, offers casual dining with four large tv screens and other games. The Scots Bar with all its photographs of famous Scots is a place to relax in the evening and enjoy most of Scotland’s national drinks. Breakfast is to die for with the chef ready to freshly cook anything from the menu. Despite the rain we thought we had been away for several day.
