It was unfortunate that we arrived late, so missed the tea tasting....but we had a choice of tea to accompany our cakes etc.
Afternoon tea was most enjoyable....

It was excellent. The tea house is a lovely clean, bright building set in rolling hills. We had a talk on the growing and production of tea. The afternoon tea was very good; delicous treats freshly made. It was the best afternoon tea I've eaten.
The only suggestion I have is that customers are given glasses of water to cleanse the palate between tea tasting.

Altogether an amazing experience. Who would have thought that Scotland could grow tea!! Excellent food paired with tasty teas . Definitely a wee hidden gem.

The owner was knowledgeable, the experience & food were good. However, on making a purchase of tea in the shop I didn’t receive the correct change; I presume
because they didn’t have pennies. This would not have bothered me if the owner had explained the situation, she didn’t which for me took away from a nice afternoon.

Enjoyed the talk about the science of tea making and the tasting sessions. Nice afternoon tea to accompany the tastings.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Scottish Tea House. The tea tasting was very interesting, and the ladies explaining the origins of the different teas were knowledgeable. The afternoon tea itself was delicious, one of the best we've had. The ingredients were typically either home baked or locally sourced. We had a really enjoyable afternoon.
