The afternoon tea was just perfect and so was the service. I forgot to provide my friend's allergy details in advance. This wasn't a problem as the waitress carefully took the details and the chef sorted it. Thank you!

We have been a few times and it’s been really good in the Summer but this was disappointing this time in the Autumn.
The hotel restaurant on the 7th floor is really nice and relaxing. The attention to look after guests was a bit hit and miss. The afternoon tea sponge cakes, scones were delicious but the sandwiches were dry and stale. The tea was cold too ,We had to ask for a hot tea again ! The young servers were not attentive to there guests.Overall ok this time.

Staff, trained well & explained all, with a smile.Small forks would be better than those large ones for said cake portions smaller portions, which were adequate.Suggest again, that door to 7th floor "terrace" could have automatic closure fixture as save autumnal draught, when customers open to take photos...

Content of afternoon tea just okay. Not the best value for money.
Service poor.

Everything about our afternoon tea was perfect. The girl who served us was super friendly, polite and couldn’t do enough.

Afternoon tea was lovely and staff attentive. Our table was in the middle so it might have been nice to have a table at the window for the special occasion. Otherwise really happy and everyone enjoyed it.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Especially with my 1 year old being there too

Your ratings go from average to very good I have marked it average because there was no good rating and it certainly wasn’t very good .we had a voucher for two but we paid extra for one as there was three of us which cost £20 it certainly wasn’t worth that the selection of cakes was great ,but the scones were hard and it was the tiniest wee bit of sausage roll I’ve ever seen in an afternoon tea and a pretty pathetic offering of three little sandwiches going slightly stale ,so I don’t think we’ll be back
