We purchased our voucher for £30, 2 x 8oz sirloin steak and chips and a choice of 2 sides. This was a 49% discount.
Our waiter showed us to our table. We were the only in the place, which could easily West 60 guests.
The cheap, plastic coated menu was handed to us and it became obvious that we had entered a glorified chip shop with all the usual choices of take-a-way food you get at a chippy.
He aware, Surf and Turf is unlicensed, only unbranded soft drinks, cola, at £2/can. Horrible drink.
Our dreams arrived within 10 mins and were cooked as ordered, but the weight of these 8oz steaks were drastically reduced once 3 or 4oz of unrendered, uncooked fat was cut away from the edge. Management need to have a word with the butcher supplying their steaks.
The sauces ordered were mixed up, my wife poured my very peppery, peppercorn sauce over everything on her plate, before realising her mushroom sauce was on my plate. We pointed the error out to our very attentive waiter, who quickly brought replacement sauces for us, but the damage had already been done.
Frozen chips accompanied the steaks, not a good idea when you are running essentially a chip shop.
The other side was a portion of mixed veg, which I am saddened to say was the best thing on our plates.
Our waiter was excellent, however, he does not order the supplies or cooks the food.
We skipped the dessert menu, paid our £4, drinks bill and left.
With standards as low as this I doubt this place will last for very long.

Where to start.
Place upon entrance was very modern inside but in a plain boring way. The place was empty apart from two tables and 1 staff member who (by no fault of his own) was inexperienced and left with too much to cater to. Presentation overall pretty awful lacking character or class. Toilets where not cleaned in a while and clearly was another thing to be left to over worked staff to do.
Food.
Vegetables frozen and then cooked. While it was very nice disappointed as it was a restaurant and I can make my own frozen veg. Got the 2 for £30 sick deal, they had only 1 sirloin so I give that to the Mrs and got the ribeye which then came more undercooked than I liked, which when said was dealt with effectively by the staff. In no way is this a review to criticise staff as I think ownership are just lazy and tight. Chips where also frozen.
Overall I could say many things but they are just me being a picky *****. Overall I wouldn't recommend to anyone or go back myself sadly. I hope this is changed quickly and ownership realise that having a big premises with loads of potential does not mean to cheap out on EVERYTHING else

Warmly welcomed but a slight delay in serving chosen dish but we were offered a complimentary side dish whilst waiting. Main of fish and chips was well cooked and presented with service most attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and would return. It was excellent value using the Itison and ideally situated near to parking and The Caird Hall. It is a new venture but would give them a go.

The restaurant was well situated and the staff were friendly including the owner. The fish and chips were very nice and a great offer however I had ice cream and it was a bit grainy and a very small scoop.

The steak was tough and overcooked. It was reasonably expensive- we were not given the sirloin steak advertised. Waiter was smiling a lot but ignored it when I told him twice how bad the meat was. One was half fat.

Let's start with the good stuff.
This restaurant is quite big. It was well lit and very clean. The staff were friendly and quite chatty.
However. We arrived about 10 mins after they opened and they weren't ready for us. I don't think the fryers were turned on.
We were the only ones there but the food didn't arrive for over an hour.
The food arrived and looked fine but there was something missing?... taste.
I think that here in Scotland, Fish & chips are cooked in lard (pigs) and this being a halal restaurant that could be the difference in the taste?
There is also no alcohol served here. Nothing said about that on the voucher?
There was also no Pepsi or coke. There were tins of yo cola. The money apparently goes to gaza.
I'll no be back.
