From the moment we arrived and through the delicious and beautifully presented savouries to the photogenic sweets it was a very nice afternoon. Staff were very good, venue classy and food of a really high standard. Would absolutely recommend

The food was good. The service was good. The only disappointment was that on previous occasion there had been live music but was now only on some weekends

This was our second visit. First time around there was a live band but sadly not this time. Great sharing platter with a good balance of fruit and pastries followed up by a wide selection of cooked breakfast dishes. Relaxing environment and impeccable service. Overall a good way to spend a Sunday.

We were greeted at One Square Reception & seated at our table for 2.
The Maitre D was lovely, explaining that we would have a glass of sparkling Jing Tea between savoury & sweet courses to cleanse our palate. The choice of hot Jing Teas is lovely.
When our savoury selection arrived, we were informed of the story behind each selection & of the ingredients before happily tucking in.... the Haggis Bonbon was incredible & I would happily have eaten another one!
The desserts arrived in an open wire cage cake stand & again each was explained carefully before we attempted to devour the cakes.... we didnt manage them all & had to leave Sherlock Holmes.
Overall it was a wonderful Afternoon Tea & I would thoroughly recommend it.

This is the second time we’ve been to One Square for afternoon tea - and it definitely won’t be the last! The staff are helpful, friendly and knowledgable. The setting is beautiful with views across to the Usher Hall. The food however is outstanding. Beautifully presented inside a “book”, pea veloute, roast beef on a brioche roll, pin wheel salmon, fish tart with fluffy potato topping, cream cheese and cucumber finger sandwich, haggis Bon Bon with infusion of neeps and potatoes. A refreshing sparkling jasmine infusion to cleanse the palate then the amazing sweet plates. Fruit and plain scones, Harry Potter peach tart, Sherlock Holmes cranachan, Walter Scott profiterole, Swan Lake blueberry cake they all tasted divine. One has a wide range of teas or if you prefer coffees. We had jasmine tea and Raspberry tea, with our savouries and cappuccino with our sweets. The whole experience is excellent. I would highly recommend.

the place and staff lovely. brunch platter was great (pastries, fruit etc) but the main really disappointing. massively overcooked egg and a miniscule amount of hollandaise sauce made the dish so dry i couldn't eat it - really disappointing.

It was an amazing experience start to finish. Staff were friendly, food was lovely and so well presented and they went over and above as a birthday treat and brought out a presentation plate with a chocolate sign Happy Birthday with a selection of 5 sweets attached. Really nice treat!
