Brilliant place to partake of brunch. Plentiful amounts of food and hot drinks washed down with a mimosa. Lovely professional staff. Nice
atmosphere and we were treated great. Would definitely recommend it and will be back. X

The place itself is beautiful so when we walked in I had high hopes. Service was really good from the young girl that served us but when the morning tea stand came everything was cold. It must have been made for a while and sitting under a hot plate because the granola and yogurt on the top tier had a heat in it which tasted very weird and the breakfast rolls at the bottom were stone cold. If it had been hot it would have been nice. A couple more pastries on the top might also be nice.

Afternoon tea was OK, service really good.
Downside was we had booked tour of house and afternoon tea to be told when we arrived that the house was closed for the day due to photo shoot. Surely when they have your booking details they could inform you house was closed and to rebook?
We received a voucher to visit in future but having travelled an hour to get to house it’s disappointing house was closed!

Had a lovely breakfast with coffees and cocktails. Service was friendly and very helpful. Audio guide was good and although rooms were being prepared for a wedding it was worth visiting.

The staff were lovely and cannot be faulted. The food was acceptable but not as good as The Willow Tearoom standard. Disappointed that there was a last minute booking at the house itself so could not do the tour (which was why we had booked). Were given a voucher to come back and do the tour another day, so again, staff can’t be faulted, but came a distance with my 82 year old mother especially and as she has mobility issues, it is not practical.

We were disappointed that we could not have our tour as there was an event on but we were pleased to except a voucher to come on another day. We will be back to enjoy another visit to the lovely tea room .

Really enjoyed our visit but found the audio guide and floor plan a bit confusing, as we had to walk through the house to get to the starting point. Would've been better to have Margaret Macdonald's room as number 1.

A friendly welcome. Lovely food, and so much. We then took a tour round the house. All in all, a great way to spend a Sunday morning. Would definitely recommend.
