We really enjoyed our tour. I live locally and had been following the progress of the Distillery on social media so it was very interesting to visit and find out more about the production process and also about the company and its ethos. We were so impressed by the staff, all of whom were friendly, knowledgable and so enthusiastic about being part of this very exciting venture .

Went with friends and we all enjoyed it. Tour group size perhaps a little too large, as could be hard to hear. Enjoyed the tasting, and nice touch being able to take home mini bottle.

Great host. Different approach to other distillery builds. Modern and entertaining. Drinks were fantastic and a brilliant introduction to what Port of Leith are trying to achieve. Absolutely recommend.

A very interesting building and story. They only started production last month so only white spirit to see however there was a tasting of two white spirits (different yeasts), an oloroso sherry, port and single grain whisky. The sherry and port was a nice touch, describing the cask styles anticipated. The grain whisky was the only slight disappointment, a better approach might be to offer a malt whisky of a similar style to which the distillery as aiming at.
I didn't expect the nice restaurant/ tapas menu on the top floor with great views. Looking forward to trying the menu at a later date.

We had an interesting and enjoyable visit to the Port of Leith Distillery which is very different in architectural style from the norm. Our guide Isabel was very knowledgeable and friendly, the views - even on a very rainy day, were spectacular and there is a smart bar/cafe on the top floor which served good coffee and pastries. The tasting session was generous and purchases can be made in the shop. What’s not to like!
