Skate under the stars on the UK’s biggest ice rink, purpose built and fully covered, to Christmas and party classics and an amazing light show, all set against the spectacular backdrop of Kelvingrove Museum.
Add a Snow Wheel ticket or a special feature session: Skate with Santa, Skate School, Skate Lates (Adult only!) or one of our Relaxed Sessions.
Under 5’s aren’t permitted on the main rink, but they can safely slide and play on our new toddler rink – a small area dedicated for wee ones and an accompanying adult. Tickets are £6, payable on the day, and include bobskate hire (skates that strap on over shoes). The toddler rink is open until 7pm daily, and an accompanying adult goes free, no skates needed.
Children aged 5 – 12 must be accompanied by an adult on the main ice rink. Skate aids are available for hire on the day for £5 and are suitable for children under 1.2m.

Cosy up in your own private cabin and take in spectacular views across Elfingrove as snow gently falls around you and Christmas tunes fill the air. A magical moment to slow down together and get some great pics from up above!
Open to skaters and non-skaters • Children must be accompanied by an adult • Up to 4 people per cabin
Elfingrove is the coolest spot to hang out this winter – get a sugar rush at Candy Land – the sweetest spot in town, hang out with a bier and bite to eat at our Apres Skate Bar or cosy up with piping hot fondue at the bookable Skate Side Dining overlooking the rink as you watch skaters glide (or collide) on ice.

This year through the Elfingrove Legacy Fund (E.L.F) we’re donating 2000 tickets to great causes around the local area.
We’re making Elfingrove as inclusive as possible with relaxed sessions, a sensory guide, a Changing Place toilet and ice access for mobility scooters.
The front of Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum is transformed into the magical world of Elfingrove.
